I eventually surrendered him back to his momma and cradled my camera instead. Not quite as good, but it was rewarding! I wanted to photograph the view that I had as I held Ilyas. I almost always find myself holding my breath as I look at a baby in my arms… watching his changing expressions, his little chest rise and fall, his sweet lips part slightly and fist curl even tighter as he (no doubt) dreams of his next meal!

And so, this first image was born, though not without a bit of head/neck discomfort on Sarah’s part. (Sorry Sarah!!!) I love many of these images, but the first is my favorite….

Congratulations Ali family! Two beautiful (errrr…..I mean handsome) boys! You are so blessed.

So finally, I bring you this beautiful, growing family that is so much FUN to photograph. I swear Sarah can’t take a bad picture, which makes my job sooooo easy, and the men in the family just go along with pretty much anything! Perfect! Oh, and speaking of the men in the family, a third little man has since joined them! Sarah is most definitely outnumbered, and without a doubt greatly blessed!

This month marks mom and dad Angaroni’s 20th wedding anniversary, so we made sure to take a few minutes to get some portraits of just the two of them together. Congratulations you guys!! These last 20 years have brought you a beautiful family, and I pray many blessings on the next 20 years!

The day turned out to be so perfect for us. We were really afraid we might be rained out, but the rain skipped around us, and other than soggy grass, puddles, and some misting here and there, it couldn’t have been better! Plus, the threat of rain gave us a good excuse to break out a red umbrella….and who doesn’t like red umbrellas?!?

I delivered their gallery to them yesterday, and Christy was so excited! And that made me even more excited than I already was! Such fun!

I was so excited when she contacted me about shooting her wedding this summer, and then soooo sad when I had to tell her I was already booked for her wedding date! I will be shooting another fabulous wedding that day, but will certainly be thinking of Emily and Mitch in the quieter moments, praying God’s blessings on the beginning of their life together.

In the end, Emily found a fabulous photographer for her wedding, and asked me if I would do her bridals. Would I??? OF COURSE!! So, a couple of weeks ago I headed out to her hometown of Rockwall, Texas where we romped around in overgrown fields, hunted for pretty churches, and ventured out onto a dock where boats drove by honking. It was good fun, to be sure!

Emily, thank you for the honor of shooting your bridal portraits. And Mrs. Hale, thank YOU for being such a great sport and allowing me to drag you all over the place! I had such a blast with you two! Oh, and I can’t wait to see your wedding pictures…

ANYWAY, once I dislodged my foot from my mouth, we got going and had a lot of fun. We shot at a beautiful park in Manchester, NH, which I will never be able to find again as I wasn’t the one driving. But it was a great spot for Esther to kick off her shoes and for me to capture her absolutely gorgeous form! After traipsing around in the park for a bit, we headed over to Ben & Jerry’s for a much desired needed ice cream break. My favorite ice cream is now Phish Food. Yum!

Esther and Bobbie, thank you for such a fun afternoon! I think I would like to do it again next week. You free?

Oh, and just for the record, I LOVE the beauty here in New Hampshire and wish (oh, how I wish!) that I could shoot here all the time!!
