Boy do I need to get on the ball with my blog updates!! The recent holidays set me back a bit in my blogging. I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed time with family and friends over this past month! Rich and I were able to spend some time with family in Michigan, and immediately after, I headed to Dallas to teach a photography mini term at Dallas Baptist University. It is always nice to be back on campus at my old alma mater!

Now I’m home again and getting back into my routine….for now. Routine never seems to last long around here. :)

While I was in Dallas I had the pleasure of meeting up with Stephanie and Chris on New Year’s Day for their engagement session. This was actually take 2 with their session. We first met up mid-December, but after shooting for a little while the wind forced us to throw the towel in a bit early. But no matter. We went for it again, and this time with a lot less wind! We enjoyed wandering around Main Street in Grapevine, and we just about had it to ourselves. All I can figure is most people were recovering from the night before. All the better for us!!!

Thanks for such an enjoyable afternoon, guys! I’m eagerly looking forward to your wedding in June!

Here are a few of my favorites….all black and white except for the first.stephanieandchris2
