I met Emily last year when she took my class at Dallas Baptist University. You know how every now and then you meet someone and the two of you just click? Well, that’s what happened! Emily is a beautiful girl (as you can see!!), who has a heart for the Lord, a heart for art, and a heart for her soon-to-be, Mitch, who is in the Military. Emily and I have a lot in common.
I was so excited when she contacted me about shooting her wedding this summer, and then soooo sad when I had to tell her I was already booked for her wedding date!
I will be shooting another fabulous wedding that day, but will certainly be thinking of Emily and Mitch in the quieter moments, praying God’s blessings on the beginning of their life together.
In the end, Emily found a fabulous photographer for her wedding, and asked me if I would do her bridals. Would I??? OF COURSE!! So, a couple of weeks ago I headed out to her hometown of Rockwall, Texas where we romped around in overgrown fields, hunted for pretty churches, and ventured out onto a dock where boats drove by honking.It was good fun, to be sure!
Emily, thank you for the honor of shooting your bridal portraits. And Mrs. Hale, thank YOU for being such a great sport and allowing me to drag you all over the place! I had such a blast with you two! Oh, and I can’t wait to see your wedding pictures…
